A spectacular Art Deco cross pendant made by renowned German jeweller Theodor Fahrner in the early 1900s. The cross is set with six magnificent step cut synthetic blue topaz, totalling approx. 47 carats and is modelled in solid sterling silver with twinkling metallic marcasite’s and milgrain decorating the border.

Theodor Fahrner was established in Pforzheim, Germany in the 19th Century and was renowned for his distinct and innovative jewellery pieces which were celebrated across the globe. Upon his death in 1883 the business was taken over by his son and later purchased by his successor Gustav Braendle who continued to create stylish yet affordable pieces throughout the 20th Century, specializing primarily in glamorous Art Deco designs.   

It’s a marvellous collector’s piece and is complete with Fahrner’s mark on the back and accompanied by a long sterling silver paperclip chain to display it on.
