A gorgeous pair of Art Deco drop earrings (Circa 1920) built around two luxurious, scissor cut amethysts weighing approx. 4ct each. They have an alluring, deep purple hue and are bezel set in a frame of bright seed pearls that contrast beautifully.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February. It’s considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep purple colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
The pair is fashioned in 9ct gold and have a wonderful, scalloped border, edged with milgrain. They’d be perfect for a glamorous occasion and dangle beautifully from each ear.
