A glorious antique Edwardian brooch from the early 1900s built around a sizable amethyst in the centre, weighing approx. 20ct. It has a deep, regal purple hue and is complemented by a halo of bright, white pearls around the outside.

Amethyst is the birthstone of February. It’s considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity and has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty and deep purple colouring which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.

The gallery is a wonderfully ornate design, crafted in solid 9ct gold with a pin and safety catch fitted to the back. It’s an eye-catching statement piece that would look right at home on a lapel.
