Fashioned in rich 18ct yellow gold, this sweet antique Edwardian diamond half-hoop ring is set with a graduated row of five glittering old mine-cut diamonds across the centre (approx. 0.08ct total). It’s finished with delicate, hand-engraved embellishments on each shoulder and features the maker’s mark and hallmarks within the band that have faded over time but are likely from the early 1900s.

During the Edwardian era, five-stone rings were a cherished romantic gesture, with each diamond symbolising a cornerstone of a successful relationship: love, commitment, trust, communication, and empathy. Such rings were often presented as anniversary or eternity gifts, making this piece deeply meaningful as well as beautiful.

The ring has remarkably stood the test of time, with its diamonds remaining as bright and lively today as they were over a century ago. Now ready for its next chapter, its slender half-hoop design ensures comfortable everyday wear while allowing it to stack effortlessly alongside other rings or a wedding set.
