These magnificent antique Victorian drop earrings are fashioned in golden pinchbeck and date to the Grand Tour era (Circa 1870) when archaeological discoveries outside Rome sparked a desire for ancient Etruscan-inspired jewellery such as this. The pair feature a striking amphora-inspired bud form, enriched with intricate filigree wirework and culminate in elegant articulated spike and ball tassels that sway beautifully with movement.
More than a century later, these remarkable Etruscan revival earrings remain in excellent condition, retaining a warm, authentic patina that lends a regal glow unattainable in modern reproductions. They swing beautifully from the ear and will bring refined Victorian elegance, along with a touch of historical wanderlust, to your jewellery collection.
