A striking antique Edwardian sapphire diamond cluster ring, crowned with a deep-blue oval cut sapphire in the centre (approx. 0.30ct), complemented by a halo of eight sparkling brilliant cut diamonds around the outside, with SI1 clarity – H colour (approx. 0.56ct total).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
This Edwardian cluster ring is fashioned in platinum and 18ct yellow gold and dates to the early 20th Century. It would make a gorgeous antique engagement ring, with a beautiful cluster of precious gems on top.
