An elegant antique Edwardian bangle from the turn of the 20th Century featuring a curved, wave motif across the front, dotted with alternating turquoise and natural pearls with further scrolled flourishes and gold beads chasing down the sides.

Turquoise is considered a stone of everlasting love and pearls a stone of loyalty. They were a popular combination in the Edwardian era with their soft colours complementing each other perfectly, evoking the calm and serenity of the sky and ocean.

The sleek band is fashioned in 9ct gold and has developed a lovely rosy patina over time and is held by a box clasp and safety chain at the side. It’s complete with Birmingham hallmarks that date it to the very beginning of the Edwardian era, 1901.
