Crafted in London in 1979, this regal vintage ruby and diamond cluster ring is crafted in two-tone 18ct white/ yellow gold and claw-set with a deep cherry-red cushion-cut ruby at its centre (approx. 0.65ct), encircled by a radiant halo of eight brilliant cut diamonds (approx. 0.32ct). The stones are arranged in an elevated coronet-style gallery that crowns them high atop the finger and features full hallmarks within the split band.
It would make a perfect choice for an alternative engagement ring or a 40th anniversary gift, with the precious gemstone combo forming a timeless symbol of love: the ruby representing a passionate heart, and the surrounding diamonds signifying eternal devotion and protection.
