A lovely antique Victorian locket from the late 19th Century displaying floral, chased patterning on both sides with a strip of seed pearls down the centre bordered with navy Enamel stripes.
A blank shield can also be found on the back and would usually contain the owner’s initials or a loving inscription.
It opens up and contains a fixed rim and window within, so you can add your own history or photograph to the piece.
It’s modelled in a bright 15ct yellow gold and displays beautiful workmanship throughout. It would look lovely on a gold chain.
