A fabulous antique Edwardian moonstone lavaliere necklace modelled in silver and gilded in 18ct yellow gold. It features a distinctive pendant, bezel set with eleven cabochon moonstones (approx. 17ct total) arranged in an abstract, flower design.
The Moonstones have a lovely ghostly hue and a luminous surface similar to that of Moonlight. They are said to be a magical stone providing a channel for prophecy and a path to wisdom.
The pendant is in excellent condition and suspended from a long cable chain complete with a secure ring clasp.
