A beautiful antique Edwardian sapphire diamond trilogy ring, adorned with a blue oval cut sapphire in the centre (approx. 0.80ct), flanked by bright brilliant cut diamonds on either side (approx. 0.20ct each).
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The sleek band is fashioned in 18ct yellow gold and joins platinum crown settings that elevate each stone high atop the finger. It would make a stunning engagement ring with the trilogy of stones representing past, present and future, or those three little words, “I love you”.
