An exquisite antique Georgian coral five-stone ring beautifully preserved from the late 18th Century. It’s adorned with five polished coral cabochons that are all natural and display a striking burnt-orange hue.

Coral is produced naturally in the depths of the ocean over thousands of years by tiny marine invertebrate known as polyp. It has long been worn as a protective talisman and exhibits fiery shades of pink, orange and red, making them a colourful alternative to other ocean treasures such as pearls.

The closed-back gallery is modelled in 18ct gold and features detailed floral artistry carved down the shoulders. It’s all in excellent condition and sits flat against the finger with the beautiful coral stones curving around the top.
