A colourful antique Edwardian pendant made in support of the women’s Suffrage movement in the early 20th Century. The silver pendant has an elaborate, open-work design with scrolling motifs and five long droppers hanging from the bottom.
It’s decorated with white seed pearls and beautiful pink and green pastes in various shapes and sizes. This combination of colours was often used to show support for the movement and symbolised; Violet/ Pink for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
It’s in excellent condition and accompanied by a long silver chain to display it on.
