A beautiful antique Victorian ruby diamond ring, made in Birmingham in 1863. The carved half-hoop gallery is modelled in 18ct gold and engraved with scrolling artistry down the sides and shoulders, with three deep cherry-pink rubies set on top (approx. 0.70ct total) alongside four twinkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.08ct total).
Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
This is a gorgeous antique Victorian ring, fully hallmarked within the band with a luxurious collection of quality rubies and diamonds on top.
