An ornate pair of Etruscan revival hoop earrings made by Italian jeweller “Unoaerre” in the late 20^th Century. The pair are fashioned in 9ct gold with jagged Etruscan inspired metalwork and gold beading around the border. 

Etruscan style pieces saw a revival in the 19^th and 20^th Century after ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome, beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same grand and elaborate fashion.  

They’re a spectacular pair and fitted with lever back hooks, complete with the maker’s mark and later Sheffield import hallmarks dating to 1992.
