A beautiful pair of antique Victorian garnet drop earrings consisting of a round and pear-cut garnet, weighing approx. 2.5ct and 3.5ct. The dark stones glow cherry-pink in the light and are claw-set in 9ct gold frames with pierced sides.

Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.

They’re a fabulous pair, dating to the late 19th Century and look gorgeous dangling from each ear.
