A fabulous antique Victorian cluster ring from the late 19th Century modelled in 18ct gold and claw set with a colourful natural opal at its heart surrounded by four bright old mine cut diamonds at each compass point. The centre stone weighs approx. 0.40ct with 0.05ct diamonds around the outside.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history, desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis, with a burning orange sunset glowing behind.
It’s a striking piece, in excellent condition with a wonderful collection of gems on top.
