A fabulous antique Edwardian pendant/ brooch from the early 1900s fashioned in 9ct gold and decorated with an array of bright seed pearls, surrounding a central pink tourmaline (approx. 0.50ct).
Pink Tourmaline ranges from vibrant pink to fiery red and like a ruby is considered a stone of the heart. A symbol of femininity, joy and romance, it is popularly gifted as a token of unconditional love and friendship.
The flower shaped gallery has a wonderful open-work design with scrolling outer petals, milgrain edging and a cross-hatch centre circle. It’s very pretty and would look perfect pinned to a lapel or hung from a gold chain.
