An exquisite antique Edwardian Sovereign case made in Birmingham by Levi & Salaman in 1902. The large, round case is modelled in sterling silver and features a lid on top that swings to the right to reveal a silver coin slot that can be pushed down to insert the sovereign. 

The pendant is chased with elaborate foliate engraving on the back and front and a ring of ivy leaves around the lid. It’s highly collectable and complete with Birmingham hallmarks, the maker’s mark, a Wilcox’s patent and a long sterling silver rope chain to display it on.
