A gorgeous antique Victorian heart pendant from the late 1800s built around a magnificent heart cut amethyst weighing approx. 12 carats. It has a pale violet hue and expertly cut facets that raise to a point in the centre.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep violet colouring has been highly esteemed throughout history, adorning regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.
