Married with two golden citrine hearts, this pretty antique Victorian entwined heart bar brooch would make the perfect antique gift for a loved one. The two matching citrine hearts have a warm honey-orange hue and weigh approx. 1.3ct each. They’re set in a sunny 18ct yellow gold gallery, complemented by a border of natural seed pearls, that also adorn a bow on top.
Entwined hearts were a popular Victorian love token, symbolising the loving union of two people. They were often topped with a bow or knot to represent their unbreakable bond, and this is further emphasised by the pairing of citrines and pearls, a harmonious contrast that represents joy, happiness, and loyalty.
Dating to the late 19th Century, this exquisite Victorian citrine heart brooch has remained in excellent condition thanks to its strong pin and safety lock catch at the back. A wonderful symbol of everlasting love that has withstood the test of time.
