An exquisite antique Victorian garnet pearl cluster ring, made in Birmingham in 1867. The gallery is set with a trilogy of kite cut almandine garnets with a deep cherry-pink hue, complemented by four bright seed pearls in between.

Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.

The ring is modelled in 12ct yellow gold and features scrolled, eternity motifs along the sides and fine, foliate engraving around the band. It’s in excellent condition and complete with hallmarks and the maker’s mark within the band.
