This luxurious antique Victorian Albert chain has been converted into a beautiful bracelet. It consists of solid gold curb links, each verified with a “375/ 9ct” stamp and faceted rollerball links that glide effortlessly over the skin, glittering as they catch the light.
Albert chains were both a fashionable and practical accessory for a gentleman in the 19th Century, often adorned with a pocket watch or fob and secured to the buttonhole of a waistcoat for quick access. Today they are also worn as stylish necklaces or bracelets; a custom started by the wives of soldiers during WW1 who wore the chains as a keepsake.
This heavy Victorian rollerball Albert bracelet dates to the late 19th Century and has a warm, rosy-gold hue and one of its original claw clasps. It will add a lovely touch of antique glamour to your everyday style and is perfect worn solo or layered with other gold bracelets from your collection.
