A gorgeous antique Victorian cluster ring made in Birmingham in 1869. The face is crowned with a natural mabé pearl in the centre, haloed by pink cushion cut rubies (approx.0.30ct) and twinkling diamonds that also chase down each shoulder (approx. 0.10ct).
Ruby is the birthstone of July. They’ve been a favourite of kings and emperors throughout history and are considered a stone of the heart. Its fiery pink/ red hue is symbolic of passion and said to bring good fortune in love and provide long lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
The piece is fashioned entirely in 15ct gold and sits flat against the finger with Birmingham hallmarks and the maker’s mark within the band. It’s very pretty and displays a splendid assortment of natural gems.
