A fascinating Antique Georgian Mourning bracelet from the early 19th Century featuring a large 18ct Gold double-sided locket with a magnificent display of curled hair and forget me nots beautifully preserved behind a glass window
Mourning jewellery was worn in remembrance of a deceased loved one and sometimes contained a lock of their hair so that a piece of them was always kept close to the wearer.
