A striking antique Victorian turquoise pearl cluster ring from the late 19th Century, featuring a fabulous navette gallery, encrusted with bright, creamy seed pearls, surrounding a beautiful sky-blue cabochon turquoise in the centre (approx. 2.8ct).
Turquoise is considered a stone of everlasting love and pearls a stone of loyalty. They were a popular combination in the Victorian era with their soft colours complementing each other perfectly, evoking the calm and serenity of the sky and ocean.
The marquise gallery is modelled in 18ct gold and the turquoise is set in a claw setting on top, with pierced workmanship around the sides and split shoulders on either side.
It’s a beautiful antique statement ring, all in excellent condition, with a wonderful collection of bright, soothing gemstones on top that complement each other perfectly
