A sweet antique Victorian amethyst heart brooch, built around a magnificent amethyst heart, weighing approx. 6.5 carats. It has a regal, deep-purple hue and is claw set in an 18ct gold frame, complemented beautifully by a halo of bright, white seed pearls around the border.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep purple/ violet colouring has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and contrasts beautifully with the bright, natural lustre of pearls, which together exude elegance and sophistication.
This beautiful Victorian heart brooch dates to the late 19th Century and is in excellent condition. It would make the perfect antique gift for a loved one.
