A grand antique Victorian band ring from the late 19th Century depicting a belt and buckle modelled in solid 18ct yellow gold with detailed flower and leaf engraving around the entire band.
Belt and Buckles were a popular romantic token in the Victorian era with their infinite loop and secure buckle perfectly representing eternal love and a strong, unbreakable bond that could never be broken.
The piece has a good weight and pleasing patina with Birmingham hallmarks within, dating to 1890. It would make a perfect wedding band.
