A pretty antique Victorian brooch made by distinguished London designer “Liberty and Co” in the late 19th Century. The open-work gallery is fashioned in 9ct gold and has a curvaceous design, with flowing motifs and two deep pink tourmalines, one weighing approx. 1.3ct in the centre and a dropper below weighing 0.30ct.
Pink Tourmaline ranges from vibrant pink to fiery red and like a ruby is considered a stone of the heart. A symbol of femininity, joy and romance, it is popularly gifted as a token of unconditional love and friendship.
It’s a wonderful design, all in excellent condition and is stamped with the Liberty and Co mark at the back.
