A spectacular antique Victorian flower cluster ring, adorned with eight round amethysts and eight natural seed pearls, surrounding a larger amethyst on top, haloed by more seed pearls. The amethysts have a combined weight of approx. 8.2 carats and have a deep-purple hue which is contrasted beautifully against the bright white pearls.
Amethyst is the birthstone of February and is considered a stone of protection, clarity and tranquillity. Its deep purple/ violet colouring has been a favourite of royalty throughout history and pairs beautifully with the bright, natural lustre of pearls, which together exude elegance and sophistication.
This remarkable Victorian cluster ring is modelled entirely in 9ct yellow gold and has remained in excellent condition. It’s a magnificent statement piece from the late 19th Century, with a regal combination of natural gems crowned on top.
