A romantic antique Victorian bracelet adorned with six luxurious oval cut garnets with a deep red-wine hue. They weigh approx. 1.6ct each (9.5ct total) and are bezel set in wonderful, open-work links fashioned in 9ct gold with lovely foliate motifs wrapping around each stone.
Garnet is the birthstone of January. It derives its name from the Latin word for “Seed” due to the stone’s striking similarities to a pomegranate seed. It’s desired for its blazing red flame that glows beneath its dark surface and is considered a stone of passion and enduring love.
It’s remained in excellent condition and is fitted with a safety chain and a 9ct heart padlock clasp, symbolising everlasting love and commitment.
