A classic Victorian diamond gypsy ring, hallmarked in Chester in the late 19th century. This exquisite piece features five graduated old mine-cut diamonds across the front, exhibiting SI1 clarity - H colour (approx. 0.16ct total). The diamonds are flush set into a curvaceous 18ct yellow gold gallery, adorned with circular open motifs and scrolled shoulders.
This would have been a treasured betrothal or anniversary ring with the five twinkling diamonds perfectly symbolising the five pillars of a lasting relationship: love, commitment, trust, communication, and empathy. It’s remained in excellent condition and is now ready for its next romantic chapter.
