Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.

The stones are set in closed-back settings, which is typical of the period, and modelled 18ct gold, with a slender band at the back. The Georgian ring dates to the early 19th Century and has remained in excellent condition.
