An exquisite antique Georgian ruby daisy cluster ring, set with nine natural old mine-cut ruby petals. They have a vivid hot-pink hue and weigh approx. 0.12ct each, 1.08ct total.
Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion. It’s said to bring good fortune in love and provide long-lasting happiness and vitality to any relationship.
The stones are set in closed-back settings, which is typical of the period, and modelled 18ct gold, with a slender band at the back. The Georgian ring dates to the early 19th Century and has remained in excellent condition.
