An exquisite antique Victorian bohemian garnet bangle from the late 19th century pave set with clusters of deep red rose cut garnets around the entire circumference.
Bohemian garnet jewellery is desired for its abundance of rose cut garnets, also known as pyrope crystals. They were originally sourced in the region of Bohemia, which later became the Czech Republic and were highly sought after across Europe in the late 19th Century with their crimson red flame associated with passion and enduring love.
The band is made of a gold composite, or “garnet gold” and is held securely around the wrist with a box clasp and safety chain at the side. It’s in excellent condition and boasts a sumptuous array of garnets that glisten beautifully as they catch the light.
