An exquisite antique Victorian flower brooch consisting of nine round garnets with an alluring deep red hue, collet set in an 18ct gold open-work gallery. The largest weighs approx. 2ct in the centre with smaller 0.60ct petals around the outside (approx. 6.8ct total).
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing red flame which glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s long been considered a stone of the heart and symbolic of passion and enduring love.
A fabulous Victorian treasure that has remained in excellent condition and would make a perfect gift for a loved one.
