An exquisite antique Victorian Mourning cluster ring lined with a row of white seed pearls across the centre, flanked by rows of deep red garnets above and below and two larger cushion cut almandine garnets at each side.
The ring was likely made in memory of a deceased loved one and has been engraved with the name “Annie Montgomerie” behind the face and decorated with garnets to symbolise everlasting love and seed pearls to represent tears.
It’s all 15ct gold with intricate, scrolling patterning around the band and clear Birmingham hallmarks within, dating it to 1876. It was clearly very dear to its original owner and has been beautifully preserved over the Centuries.
