A striking antique Victorian solitaire ring from the late 19th Century bestowed with a mesmerising natural opal cabochon (approx. 1.8ct), displaying warm shades of green, blue and orange.
Opal is the birthstone of October. Their magic has been revered throughout history and are desired for their enchanting rainbow of colours that flow and dance across the surface of the stone, evoking the beauty of planet earth or the aurora borealis.
The stone is mounted in a large, open claw setting that crowns it high atop the finger, with gold beading chasing down each shoulder. It’s very eye catching and showcases a magical, natural opal.
