A wonderful antique late Victorian crescent moon brooch fashioned in sterling silver and lined with graduating old cut paste stones that glisten as beautiful as diamonds.
Crescent moons were a symbol of the feminine moon goddess and represented change and female empowerment in the Victorian Era.
It’s remained in excellent condition from the late 19th Century and complete with a curved pin and hallmarks on the reverse.
