An extravagant pair of antique drop earrings adorned with two large red amber droppers suspended from silver hook wires at the top. They have a beautiful cherry-red hue and are both glossy and smooth to the touch.
Amber is a fossilised tree resin produced by ancient trees and is most commonly golden orange but can also be found in other colours. The red variety is one of the rarest and can only be found in a few areas around the globe. It was worn as a talisman of healing and protection in ancient cultures and named “Dragons Blood” in Japan.
They’re an eye-catching pair, in excellent condition and look wonderful dangling from each ear.
