A fabulous antique Victorian ring depicting a lucky horseshoe set with five sparkling old mine cut diamonds (approx. 0.25ct total) and six blue sapphires (approx. 0.30ct total) in a wonderful alternating fashion.
Sapphire is the birthstone of September. The blue variety is considered a stone of truth, wisdom and protection and has long been a favourite of kings and royalty, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The horseshoe is fashioned in silver and joins a slender 18ct gold band with split shoulders. It’s a great statement piece, decorated with a gorgeous collection of contrasting gemstones.
