A wonderful, rectangular Silver Antique locket from the late Victorian era (Circa 1880). The front depicts a detailed image of a trout among reeds and is highlighted in a subtle Yellow Gold along with the frame and bale.
It opens to reveal two well preserved photographs kept safe behind glass windows of a mother and her daughter when they were both young girls. This is accompanied by a sweet inscription on the back which reads: “Mother and Millicent, Both 8 years old – 1855 and 1879”.
It was clearly very dear to its original owner and deserves to be treasured once more.
