A spectacular antique cross pendant from the late Victorian era (Circa 1900) decorated with a beautiful array of sky-blue turquoise cabochons across the front.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It’s desired for its calming blue/ green colouring and was named “Fayruz” in Turkey which translates to “Lucky stone”. It’s believed to bring happiness, clarity and good fortune, making it a popular gift exchanged between friends and loved ones.
It’s a wonderful, ornate design fashioned in silver, gilded in yellow gold and detailed with a milgrain border. It’s an exquisite antique treasure and has remained in pristine condition.
