An exquisite antique turquoise and pearl ring dating from the mid-Victorian era. The gallery is fashioned in 15ct gold and sits flat against the finger with a row of turquoise and pearls running across the centre and overlapping at the shoulders.
Turquoise is considered a stone of good fortune and pearls a stone of purity and innocence. They were a popular combination in the Victorian era with the soft colours complementing each other perfectly, evoking the calm and serenity of the sky and ocean.
