A wonderful 1920s fob pendant set with a bloodstone seal on one side and a carnelian on the other. The rotating gallery is modelled in 9ct gold with a chain link design leading up to the loop.
Fobs were usually worn as a decorative accessory to go along with a pocket. The seal was often engraved and used to stamp a person's signature or perhaps a sentimental message or image in sealing wax on important documents.
It’s a wonderful piece of history and complete with clear Chester hallmarks that date it to the year 1923.
