A colourful Suffragette tribute necklace from the 1980s made up of twisted, 9ct gold links, interspersed with pearl, peridot and amethyst beads.
Together the colours of each stone pay tribute to the women’s Suffragette movement which took place in the early 20th Century and symbolised; Violet for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope, or Give Women Votes!
It’s in excellent condition and fitted with a ring clasp at the end, complete with London hallmarks which date it to 1985.
