A fabulous 1960s solitaire ring crowned with a gorgeous, brilliant cut blue zircon weighing approx. 1.2ct. It has a lovely teal-blue hue and is mounted in a white gold claw mount with scrolled, milgrain shoulders that join a 9ct yellow gold band at the back.
Blue Zircons are desired for their exceptional fire and sparkle, which has earned them the nickname “Starlite”. They exhibit beautiful sea-green and teal-blue hues and are believed to bring prosperity and wisdom to the wearer.
It would make a unique engagement ring and is complete with the maker’s mark of “Charles Lyster & Son” and Birmingham hallmarks dating to 1962.
