A striking pair of vintage flower earrings set with a gleaming white cultured pearl in the centre surrounded by five pear cut garnet petals and one oval crowned above. They have a luxurious deep red-wine hue and weigh approx. 1.5ct each, 1.8ct on top (18.6ct total).
Garnet derives its name from the Latin word meaning “Seed” due to the stone’s similarities to a pomegranate seed. It’s desired for its blazing red flame that glows beneath its dark surface and is considered a stone of passion and enduring love.
They’re an eye-catching pair, set in 15ct gold and dangle from long hook wires at the back.
