A grand Victorian inspired Toi et Moi snake ring made in Birmingham in the late 20th Century. It depicts two coiled serpents crafted in 9ct gold and is crowned with a deep red garnet on each head (approx. 0.25ct each).
The ring carries a wonderful sentiment as the two stones symbolise the coming together of two souls and the entwined serpents represent eternal love. The style was made popular in France in the 18th century and was named “Toi et Moi”, which is French for “You and me”.
It looks wonderful wrapped around the finger and is fully hallmarked inside the band.
