A sweet 1970s name pendant adorned with eight key charms that form love hearts and letters which together spell the name “Joan”. They’re all fashioned in yellow gold, stamped “375/ 9ct” and hung on a gold loop complete with Birmingham hallmarks that date it to 1971.
The “Key to the heart” has long been a symbol of love and commitment across the ages. It represents the special bond and trust a couple share with one another as the recipient is gifted the keys, symbolically granting full access to the giver’s heart.
It would make a perfect gift for anyone named Joan and is accompanied by a new 9ct gold curb chain to display it on, complete with the Italian maker’s mark “Unoerre”.
