An elegant pair of vintage pearl stud earrings, adorned with two large Mabe pearls that have an exceptional lustre and bright silvery-white tone. They’re set in 14ct white gold backs and feature butterfly studs and a small hallmark at the back, that looks to be of European origin.
Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean. Mabe Pearls are found on the inner shell of molluscs and are desired for their size and bright, lustrous tone which is often associated with the beauty of the moon and worn as a symbol of beauty, femininity, and grace.
These impressive pearl stud earrings would be perfect worn for a glamorous occasion or wedding, exhibiting two beautiful natural pearls that glimmer beautifully in the light.
